INFORMATION
We have a
lot of people ask us about good places to stay and things to see that
are close to our Noonbarra Kelpie Stud. Many of our customers like to
travel with their families and make a short holiday of their trip up.
There are a huge number of motels and guesthouses in the city of
Orange (pop. 38,000) to the north west of us and customers are also
well served with motels in the town of Parkes (pop. 12,000) to the
south of us. In Manildra itself (12 kilometres away - pop. 500) there
is a beautifully restored old world guesthouse and cheap clean accommodation at
the Manildra Hotel. At Cudal, (pop.
400) to the east of us there is a small motel. There is also a Motel, caravan
park
and Guesthouses at Molong (pop. 1600) which is about 25 kms from
Manildra and approx. 37 kms from our Noonbarra Stud.
Most motels will allow adult dogs in cars or puppies in crates.
