NOONBARRA INDEX
The rural
city of Orange, is the nearest major centre to the Noonbarra Stud.
Orange has a population of more than 35,000 people. It is about a
40-45 minute drive from our Stud. Orange has a range of first class
restaurants, Wineries and activities for the whole family. In Winter
you might even get a snowy day and be able to build your own
snowman. During the National field Days in October much of the
accommodation is pre-booked so if you intend to come at that time try
to arrange bookings early. We welcome additional comments and
information from customers that have stayed in these establishments
or others around the Orange district.
Orange has full range of fast food restaurants including KFC,
McDonalds, Eagle Boys, Pizza Haven, Burger King, Subway (late 2002),
Pizza Hut, Red Rooster, and usual hamburger, fish & chips etc. It
also has a number of cafe's where you can enjoy outdoor eating and
have your dog with you. we often socialise young puppies this way and
we are well known to most of the Cafe's. Scotty's, Time-Out and The
Cantina are all good.
