Noonbarra Bob went to Sweden in 2002.

"Hi  Mary and Stephan, this is Bjarne from Sweden with Noonbarra Bob. I hope all is well with you both. I had a litter of pups from Bob and Cleo last summer, a very nice litter, three Black, two red and one fawn or blue).

I have been looking regularly on your home page and have seen your male Max which seems like very good dog in many ways, and I have been toying with the idea to import frozen seamen from Max to use on Cleo for the next litter and keep a female for Bob from that litter. Have you got any experience from exporting frozen semen: mainly the cost of the shipping? 

Noonbarra Cliff is another excellent young dog from Noonbarra Megan by Roy. This has been an excellent combination. He has been sold to a family in Switzerland for cattle work.

Hi! Finally Cliff has arrived his destination. Everything was going smoothly. He's really a great little dog. He is in very good condition.
I'm glad, that I've bought different toys for him. He loves them all! ..Again.... thank you for all you've done for us!

Good morning, Thank you for the training trick. I do it every day and it works! Great! Cliff is doing very well. He's a open-minded young boy. His toilet-training was successful, only if he's playing with my daughter or the other dog it can be that he forgets to go out.

He's very interested in chicken, rabbits and cats. The cows are still a little to big for him but since yesterday he comes in the stable to see them. If I hold him and go between the cows he's very trustful and look, he knows exactly: "No danger, I'm bigger than they are"... Also absolutely amazing was, how fast he accepted the rules in the house. After only one day he knew in which room he's allowed to go in and where he has to keep out! He has a special puppy carpet in the kitchen and he loves it. Very easy to motivate Cliff with toys! One time a week we go to the "kindergarden" he plays there with the other puppies and is absolutely fearless. I tried to make photos but maybe that Cliff will never be on a picture because he's to fast...

We are absolutely happy with our little boy and I'm sure, that he will become to a great worker! (recently he's seen his first sheep)

Noonbarra Cliff in Switzerland

Hi Mary! Everything is right here in Switzerland with our "Noonbarra Cliff". He's a very kind, attentive young dog. We're still doing the basics, he learns very quick and loves to work. He's so courageous, and is full of
power if he can be around our cows. Every day he come with us in the stable and then he stands on a high place, so that he is exactly big as the cows are. And then he barks.... until we stop him. He barks already well on

In about 2 weeks we start to pasture our cows. In wintertime they were for short time out of the stable. .... For his own security he was on the leash because he is absolutely fearless and there were some danger situations for him!  I'm sure, he will do a great job, if he has his daily work. He's still such a young dog and already knows many commands. He's the dog we wished to have.

Good morning, everything is going well with our "Cliff". He's a fantastic worker and we're enthusiastic about him. He loves "his" cows (goes very close to them) and is a very keen worker. The motorbike is one of his favourite things. He runs along very fast beside the bike. Sometimes it seems, as he would understand every word we speak. I still go to school with him and in December we have our first small exam.

Update 2007 - Noonbarra Mudgee has WON the Swiss National Agility Championships!

Mudgee was a real sweetie of a pup and we originally considered keeping her ourselves. She was very easy to handle and a very good crate dog and very biddable. She had a lovely friendly personality and a sense of fun. We sold her to a nice family on a small farm in Switzerland where she sounds like she is doing very well.

Hi again, You where wrong when you said you had sold us a ‘lovely puppy’. This is not a lovely puppy, this is a huge baby! After only one week the call back (with many praises as  recommended) is no more a problem, in any circumstances.

 Even if we know by our experience that it will perhaps not be for ever, it’s actually very useful: for example, we where to the vet. on Thursday. He found her a perfect young dog, and she found a perfect new friend to lick!

 On Saturday it was the first day to the puppies’ school. For the socialisation, the “seven” rule is exceeded nearly every day, and Mudgee like this very much. … Anyway, as Dominique said to me: “you must be grateful, because that’s a gift they made to us”. For myself, unforced, I agree completely with this. Thanks a lot!

Pascal and Dominique take Noonbarra Mudgee to dog obedience classes every Saturday and she often gets to have a run on the Agility course. Her friend Teresina has been a big help in showing her how to do the agility obstacles. Mudgee is very friendly to people and often gives everyone a big lick.

"Mudgee becomes an “all weather dog”, growing up stronger and wiser. Without any problem with puppies school and the beginnings of agility (maybe Dominique should have some, if she continues to do it so fast!), next week she will meet a famous sheepdog trainer , so that we can look if we (she & us) have fun with sheep, and perhaps buy some on the next spring."

Dear Stephen, dear Mary,

I hope your health problems are on the mend. We know that treatments, in Australia as well as in Switzerland are second to none.

It may cheer you up a bit to know that Mudgee, now aged about 2 years, is promised to a bright future as far as agility is concerned.

We have now entered the Swiss circuit for about two month and the results are spectacular. Furthermore, the dog not only is known for her capacity and speed but is also attracting the attention of the other owners by her concentration and decision making process. Most of them are right down impressed of her performance. That dog is really unbelievable.

You had promised that, once the contact with the dog was clearly established, Mudgee would be very generous, calm and collected. You were right on the spot.

As a matter of fact, on her second trial, she managed to win it. That may explain why the other owners are either envious or jealous. I join the result sheet so you can appreciate the difference in time in between first and second.

That being said, her best quality is her kindness, her intelligence and playfulness. Had I had the possibility to design my own dog, I would have designed it exactly as Mudgee.

I join a few pictures so you can appreciate the quality of the pup you send us. What a success.

I’m sure your health problems will be resolved in the near future and will keep you posted as I believe Mudgee in the coming of being the next Swiss champion.
